October 25, 2024, Moscow. A conference on information security solutions was organized and held by GARDA on October 24 at the Solux Convention Center. The conference title speaks for itself: “Save Everything: Information Security.” The conference attracted representatives from various business sectors and levels of responsibility. The conference brought together information security experts, lawyers, students, government officials and law enforcement agencies, representatives of general and specialized media, and IT specialists of various levels.
The extensive business program attempted to cover virtually all issues related to information security. Information security (IS) market participants from various business sectors began the conference with a discussion of emerging security threats and IS technologies that are already in use in this market or that most companies require. It’s not uncommon to see news reports of various DDoS attacks or user data leaks, and this was one of the many topics that the participants had to discuss. Taking place near the end of 2024, the conference provides an opportunity to assess and understand the current development of the information security sector in Russia, discuss existing solutions and opportunities, and outline business needs for the coming year.
Current data protection issues, as well as the potential for using AI in organizing data access and regulating such access, were discussed on separate discussion tracks. In addition, a press conference was held at the event to discuss these important issues, allowing market experts to express their opinions on various information security issues and share them with interested media representatives.
Of course, information security is a buzzword at almost every IT event these days, but Garda managed to bring together a very representative and broad range of information security professionals involved in various business sectors in one place – from seasoned information security experts to beginners and students just beginning their journey to mastering data and information protection skills.
While there were relatively few companies exhibiting at the conference, participants and guests were able to obtain expert advice on virtually all their information security-related questions through discussions at the booths and on the sidelines of the event.
A large team of experts from Inline Telecom Solutions, in addition to constant business communication at the stand, participated in all activities taking place at the conference site, getting the opportunity to reach the maximum number of participants, connect with everyone, answer important questions related to information security, discuss the acceptability and applicability of various information security technologies, and exchange professional experiences and establish new professional contacts.
