The vendor and integrator regularly assess the competencies and knowledge of the UserGate product line by ITS engineers and managers, and organize technical meetings with potential clients.

UserGate’s partnership program helps maintain the qualifications of its ITS experts across all key products in the UserGate portfolio. Both companies conduct regular training and qualification events to maintain the appropriate level of competence of the integrator’s personnel, including, in addition to theory, the development of practical skills in key UserGate products.
In early March, ITS engineers completed a 5-day online training course with UserGate Academy experts on the UserGate 7.x NGFW (Next Generation Firewall) product, which helps organizations provide a high level of threat protection for networks of any format and size, combining a firewall and intrusion detection system, a secure internet gateway, malware analysis, user authorization and application identification technologies, SSL traffic inspection, and more.
The use of advanced training technologies by UserGate Academy instructors allows for knowledge acquisition through well-structured training materials, lectures, and individual lab work with full immersion in the typical security solution infrastructure. The ability to practice configuration and troubleshooting options for various cases has been implemented. Instructor support throughout the training process allows students to fully understand the nuances of configuring and operating the system’s components. The knowledge gained allows integrator and potential customer engineers to feel confident in real-world cybersecurity tasks.
Upon completion of their training, engineers undergo testing to validate their acquired knowledge and practical skills. After theoretical training and practical experience, all students take an exam to obtain or confirm certification for UserGate products.

We always keep our content up-to-date. Upon completion of the training, students take a test to validate their acquired knowledge and practical skills. Upon successful completion of the training and lab assignments included in the course, students receive a UserGate certificate and a certificate of advanced training. Anyone can try their hand at taking the exam to obtain and confirm certification for UserGate products, earning the status of UserGate Certified Specialist,” notes Margarita Zaitseva, Director of UserGate Academy.
