Garda Group and Inline Telecom Solutions have implemented a DDoS protection subsystem for the new Atomdata-Innopolis data center. The implementation is part of a comprehensive project to create a communications node system within the data center, ensuring reliable network connectivity, protection from cyber threats, and automated resource management.
The project was implemented in accordance with the customer’s requirements for a DDoS protection subsystem for high-speed traffic analysis and protection against high-volume attacks. The system is deployed on a fault-tolerant cluster of multiple servers. To enhance security, the system receives up-to-date DDoS signatures (feeds), and the customer’s employees are trained in how to effectively operate the system.
The Atomdata-Innopolis data center under construction is one of the largest in the Volga Federal District, and its information security requirements are stringent. It should be noted that the construction of the data center itself is a large, multi-stage project that will continue to evolve and be implemented until it reaches its planned capacity.
Inline Telecom Solutions completed the DDoS protection subsystem integration. Preliminary testing confirmed the Garda Anti-DDoS system’s full compliance with the customer’s requirements. Following equipment installation and a successful pilot phase, the system was put into commercial operation on schedule.
“In total, the project included the implementation of the following: the infrastructure of the Data Center Communication Node and the local network (the Data Center IP factory), an automatic system for billing user services, including a user personal account, a security subsystem, including firewalls (NGFW) and a DDoS attack protection system, As well as a server platform and data storage subsystem to support key data center services. DDoS protection played a significant role in the overall delivery volume and became a key element of the Innopolis data center’s cybersecurity.” ‒ said Alexey Kuguk, Director of Regional Development at Inline Telecom Solutions.
“The project allowed us to create a reliable and secure digital infrastructure that fully meets the customer’s high requirements. All work was completed on time, ensuring the stable and secure operation of the data center,” noted Vadim Soldatenkov, Head of the Garda Anti-DDoS Product Group.
